Doyle YC 6 Northend Tigers 2 Wednesday 20th December 2017
Northend Tigers came up against Doyle YC on Wednesday night in a semi-final at Crumlin Leisure Centre
Both teams started very strong, with Northend having a couple of early changes from Luke McGaughey. However, it was Doyle who took the lead and went on to double their score minutes later. The Tigers pulled one back with a well taken free kick by Ben Adams. Doyle broke on the counter attack to add another two goals before half time. Zack Erwin reduce the score when he found the back of the net from a great Callum Francey corner. Half time 4-2
The second half started with Doyle getting through again to make the score 5-2. The Tigers fought back with a great ball from Archie McGreevey but his shot just went wide of Doyle goal. The Tigers had more of the ball this half with Adam Fitzpatrick having his best game this season with some nice passing. However, it wasn't Northend's night, with Doyle adding another goal just before full time. Full time 6-2

Banbridge Rangers 6 Northend United 4 Saturday 2nd December 2017
This was another top performance played against a good Banbridge Rangers side. Northend Tigers started the match on the front foot, missing a few chances. However, it was Banbridge who took the lead before the Tigers came back with a great goal by Ben Adams to make 1-1. Just before half time Banbridge went in front, following confusion in the Northend defence Half time 2-1
Second half started much the same as the first with end to end attacking play. Banbridge scored their third goal, leaving the score 3-1. However, PJ McDonnell was having the game of his life with some great passing and following one of his through balls, Ben Adams who was in clinical form, found the back of the net making it 3-2. With a smaller squad than usual, due to the last of the school transfer tests, Northend began to tire and Banbridge went on to score two more goals. The Tigers upped their game with some great football involving Eoin Mitchell and Luke McGaughey, with McGaughey's great strike finding the back of the net to leave the score 5-3. The comeback looked on when great play between Ben Adams and Luke McGaughey found McGaughey getting his second goal of the day to leave the score 5-4. With the Ballymena Blues sensing they could get something out of this game, they went all out for the equaliser with Adams and McGaughey tormenting the Banbridge defence. However, they were caught on the counter attack and Banbridge scored a sixth to kill off the fight-back. Final score 6-4
The boys all played really well, showing a lot of development and great team work

Northend United 0 Camlough Rovers 4 Saturday 18th November 2017
A depleted U13 team battled hard against a Camlough side desperate to avenge last week's narrow cup defeat. Despite conceding a goal in the first 5 minutes, the young Northend side gradually took a hold under the stewardship of new captain Billy Bell who led by example throughout. Indeed, but for some fine goalkeeping and defending, Northend could well have been in front before half time. Jamie Magill and Luke McGaughey were both particularly unlucky not to score. However, pushing forward for the equaliser, Northend were hit with a sucker punch goal just before the break. Half Time 0-2
Northend continued to fight for control and either side of two more Camlough goals, Shea Redmond had a goal bound effort cleared off the line and Archie McGreevy and Billy Bell created opportunities to score only to find the Camlough keeper in inspired form. Huge credit to all 12 boys who battled to the end and conducted themselves and the club impeccably on a frustrating day. Huge thanks also to the travelling parents who gave great support throughout at the end of another difficult week for the U13s. Full time 0-4
Man of the Match: Zach Erwin. Equally effective in midfield and defence, Zach also supported the younger players with great effect.
Panel: G McClean, R Campbell, C Wilson, PJ McDonnell, J Magill, Z Erwin, S Redmond, B Bell(c), C Francey, L McGaughey, A McGreevy, M Robinson
